IT is the place to be! Based on Eurostat’s 2022 report about ICT specialists in employment in the EU, it transpires that the number of IT professionals grew by 50.5 % in the last decade, almost 8 times as high as the increase (6.3 %) for total employment. Malta ranked 10th out of the 27 European countries in the proportion of ICT specialists in employment in 2021, and we can all agree that reflects our island’s tech reality. Working in IT can be incredibly rewarding. You'll have the opportunity to develop new skills, work with cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate with other professionals in the industry.
